Information you give us
- Newsletter: your first name (optional) and email address, so we can send the Ashnique Weekly.
- Ask Ashnique: your question, chosen topic, and an optional name or nickname and email. Questions may be published anonymously in the Dear Ashnique column. We never publish names, email addresses or details that identify you.
- Comments: the name, email and comment you submit. Your comment and name are shown publicly.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our server and tools may log basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. We may use analytics tools to understand how the site is used, and cookies to remember preferences.
Dream journal
Dreams you save in the Dream Decoder journal are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them.
Third-party services
Our site uses third-party services that may receive limited data to work, such as Google Fonts for typography, and in the future may include analytics, advertising partners and email newsletter providers. Some links are affiliate links; if you click one, the retailer may use cookies to track the referral. These services have their own privacy policies.
